Since 10 December 2008 - Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania

2000-2002 Member of Klaipėda Municipality Council, Chairman of Education, Culture and  Sport  Committee  Committee

MARITAL STATUS 

Married, with wife Ieva have twins: daughter Elzė and son Vilius. Wife is studying archaeology at doctoral studies of Klaipėda University

HOBBIES AND LANGUAGES

Takes interest in state economy issues, municipal affairs, education, public relations, sports. Likes fishing. Languages – English, Russian, French.
