Report on Activities of the MInistry of Transport and Communications (summary)

The Ministry of Communications submits an annual Report on its Activities to the Government of the Republic of Lithuania as required by government resolution No. 727 of 24 May 2002.

 

The report contains a description of the Ministry‘s mission, strategic objectives, programmes included in the strategic plan; appropriations for the programmes, programme tasks and objectives are specified; a list of programmes of the Government is provided detailing the measures of programmes implementation; a list of legal acts drafted detailing the purposes and expected impact as well as links with the Government‘ priorities. The report provides a comparison between results of activities against evaluation criteria set out in the strategic plan and states measures that have not been implemented, specifying the reasons for failure to implement them.

 

The report sets out priority lines of activities of the Ministry for short term (1 to 2 years).
